Volunteer Requirements
. Must be dependable, friendly and have a good attitude!
. Must be able to work outdoors in any weather condition.
. Must be able to follow instructions and arrive ON TIME on race morning!
. Volunteers are required to be in their assigned station at least 15 minutes prior to race start.
. Due to the nature of the course and keeping traffic to a minimum, volunteers must be available to stay at
their post for the entirety of the race. Some spots will require you to be in your designated location for
3 hours. We encourage you to bring a snack for yourself, a chair and layers of clothes.
. Coffee and light fare will be provided at race morning check-in.
. All volunteers will be provided food tickets and beer tickets (21+) to use at Celebration Square.
. Each volunteer will also receive food tickets to use at Celebration Square.
. Volunteers must provide ID to receive beer tickets.
. Volunteers of all ages welcome and encouraged
. Volunteers fulfilling volunteer hours must email sarah@runksqmushroomcap.com to obtain documentation
prior to race day.
. Volunteers 13 & under must be accompanied by an adult
. All volunteers MUST sign a medical release waiver
. All volunteers must check in with volunteer lead on either Friday night, 11/3 or on race morning.

Volunteering for the 2019 Mushroom Cap Half Marathon,
Relay Event and Charity 1 Miler Opening May 11, 2019
Attention family, friends, and local runners! Help support the community, as well as hundreds of runners, by volunteering at the Mushroom Cap Half Marathon and Race Festival Runner’s. Both individuals and groups are encouraged to sign up. We’re looking for volunteers to assist with the expo, start/finish line, course route, water stations, cheer zones, and recycling efforts. A variety of positions and times are available.

. All volunteers need to check in with the race volunteer lead and pick up their volunteer shirt, two-way radio if required and Race Festival Tickets on either Friday night or on race morning.
